The details don't extend beyond that, but if its electric drivetrain is in any way similar to that of theVolvo V60 Plug-In Hybrid we drove in March, an electric range of between 20-30 miles is a possibility.
While the Concept Coupé's styling is thoroughly modern, the car's design team says elements hark back to the classic 1960s P1800 coupé--regarded the world over as one of Volvo's most beautiful designs, and in owner Irv Gordon's hands, a car capable of reaching 3 million miles...
Elements likely to appear on future production Volvos include the T-shaped LED daytime running lights, the new, wide grille, as well as some of those interior details. Volvo is already well on the way to creating some of the automotive world's most pleasing cabins--the Volvo V40 we tested recently a great example of this--and vehicles influenced by the Concept Coupé could enhance that further.
More than anything else, Volvos are known for their safety.
